Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring for a night shift manufacturing role in Houston, TX. Base pay starts at $17.50 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential; overtime is possible. Duties include loading/unloading, painting, quality inspection, and inventory support.

Requires 1 year in manufacturing, PPE use, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Benefits start day 1. Site address: 7301 Fairview Street, Houston, TX 77041.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of related manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to obtain forklift, overhead crane, yard mule, and side loader certifications.
• Ability to wear PPE and work in a non-temperature controlled environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads painted parts as needed.
• Paints parts as needed.
• Inspects painted parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• May be assigned other projects or tasks by the team leader.
• Provide customer responsive and efficient manufacturing support activities
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage
• Assist co-workers and customers
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Maintaining a steady flow of materials and resources to production workstations
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment
