Distro is seeking a Motor Equipment Mechanic Supervisor to lead evening shift maintenance for municipal fleet vehicles and public works equipment. You will supervise mechanics and helpers, plan repairs, and ensure safety and quality in all tasks.

The role requires journey-level expertise in gasoline and diesel systems, strong leadership, and the ability to work independently across shifts, with a focus on safety and documentation.

Formación

• Associate degree or technical certificate in gasoline and diesel motor-equipment repair technology or a closely related field.
• Two years of full-time paid journey-level experience, or the paid part-time equivalent, in gasoline and diesel motor-equipment repair.
• High school graduation with four years of paid experience in gasoline and diesel repair; two years at journey level.
• An equivalent combination of training and experience; journey-level experience is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, assign, and supervise daily maintenance and repair work.
• Diagnose, repair, and service gasoline- and diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
• Inspect repairs for safety, quality, and completeness; maintain records.
• Coordinate with maintenance supervisor and shifts to ensure seamless operations.
