Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is hiring a Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift in Hayward, CA to move products throughout the warehouse using material handling equipment. Externally licensed operators and external qualifications are required to operate safely.

Typical duties include pulling routes, loading/unloading trucks, packing, scanning, and ensuring timely, accurate work while complying with TSA and OSHA guidelines. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• Requires externally accredited qualification/license.
• Experience operating material handling equipment in a warehouse.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers to load and unload trucks
• Material handling may include picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting products and other duties
• Ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work are completed accurately
• Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D)
• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jacks
• Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure safe and secure work environment following TSA and OSHA guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned.
