Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is seeking an Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Technician for our Manufacturing team in Goodyear, AZ. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all mechanical and electrical components of production and facility equipment.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, with some Saturdays as needed. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of electrical/mechanical experience, can read blueprints, and is capable of independent troubleshooting and repair while

Qualifications

2+ years of electrical/mechanical/electronic experience.
Ability to read blueprints, drawings and electrical schematics.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of equipment quickly and independently.
Lift up to 80 lbs.
Willingness to work at excessive heights.
Wear non-slip shoes and PPE as required.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment including motor controls, drives, and packaging machinery.
Repair facility equipment such as pumps, fans, HVAC systems, and hydraulic equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance planning and execution.
Install and repair work from schematics or drawings.
Contribute to quality and food safety tasks.
