Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. is seeking an experienced DC Operations Manager to lead the Evening Shift at our distribution center. You will oversee supervision and hourly staff, drive safety, quality, and throughput, and partner with HR and other teams to optimize performance.

The role requires strategic staffing, omni-channel fulfillment expertise, and a track record of continuous improvement in a high‑volume environment. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in distribution, retail operations, or high‑volume processing.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and planning skills.
• Experience with WMS/WCS systems is a plus; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of up to 7 Supervisors and over 200 hourly associates.
• Forecast labor needs, allocate resources, and maximize throughput and accuracy.
• Drive omni-channel fulfillment strategies and optimize product flow.
• Monitor KPIs, enforce safety, quality, and cost controls.
• Champion CI initiatives and develop staff through coaching and training.
