Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join Sheridan Correctional Center in Sheridan, Illinois. This evening shift position works 3pm-11pm and every other weekend, supporting nursing, medical and psychiatric staff with direct patient care for incarcerated individuals.

Required: High School diploma or equivalent, Illinois CNA license, CPR/BLS certification. Prior experience in acute, long-term, emergency, or correctional settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
• CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification is required.
• Illinois CNA licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Support overall patient comfort and safety within the facility.
• Collaborate with nursing, medical, and psychiatric teams.
