Job summary

Memory Care Center at Emerald - Claremore, OK is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the night shift. You will support residents with daily activities, monitor health needs, and document care in the charting system within a clinical setting.

Ideal candidates will have current Oklahoma CNA certification, be physically capable of assisting residents, and work well with a nursing team to ensure resident safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Must be physically able to lift/move residents and perform patient care tasks.
• Current CNA certification in Oklahoma required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Take and record vitals such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Document all care and changes in residents’ conditions in electronic health records.
• Report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff or supervisor promptly.
• Assist with feeding, meal preparation, and providing companionship.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure cohesive care.

Responsibilities

• Resident Care: Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Mobility Assistance: Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.
• Vital Signs Monitoring: Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Documentation: Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.
• Communication: Report any changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.
• Supportive Tasks: Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.
