Job summary

St. Catherine’s Center for Children is seeking a Residential Assistant in Hudson, NY to support families transitioning from homelessness. The RA will maintain a safe, clean environment, assist with service plan implementation, and coordinate with case managers to monitor progress.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Flexibility in schedule and a valid NY driver’s license are essential as some local travel is needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• College degree in Human Services preferred.
• Experience in human services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure, clean, and supportive environment for families transitioning from homelessness.
• Assist resident families with service plan implementation and track progress.
• Collaborate with Case Managers to support service plan goals.
• Accurately record family interactions and incidents in logs per standards.
• Transport clients in agency vehicles as needed.
