Job summary

Blue Flame Management operates three hotels on the Northeast side of Fort Wayne: the Hampton Inn Dupont, the Hilton Garden Inn, and Home2 Suites. The Server/Bartender position at the Hilton Garden Inn supports guests with orders, beverages, and service, including presenting menus and relaying orders to the bar and kitchen.

Responsibilities include mixing drinks to hotel standards, delivering food and drinks, observing guests, and handling age verifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Valid Food Safety Handler Certificate.
• Valid Liquor Permit.
• Ability to handle various personalities and situations.
• Strong decision‑making skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Availability to work weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Interact verbally with guests to create a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
• Present menus, take and relay orders to the service bar and kitchen.
• Mix drinks according to hotel standards.
• Deliver food and drinks to guests.
• Observe guests and respond to additional requests.
• Check guests’ identification to ensure age requirements.
