Job summary

Murano in Seattle is seeking a qualified Senior Living Cook for the evening shift to provide high-quality meals that support residents’ wellness and dignity. You will follow recipes, prepare items in a timely manner, and ensure safety and sanitation while accommodating dietary needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality food preparation.
• Experience in scratch cooking in a high-volume setting.
• Proficient with MS Outlook and MS Word.
• 1 year previous dining experience; HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing all food items following production amounts, recipes and procedures.
• Ensures all food items are prepared in a timely fashion and uses batch-cooking or cook-to-order when appropriate.
• Maintains food safety and nutrition to meet residents' dietary requirements.
• Attends dining services meetings and trainings.
• Maintains kitchen sanitation and safety standards including temperature records.
