Job summary

Qualifications

• California Phlebotomy Technician license (I or II) required at hire.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred; 1 year in a laboratory setting.
• Proficiency in specimen collection and processing.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process blood specimens for neonate to geriatric patients.
• Provide assessment and care for in-patients and ER patients as needed.
• Assist with outpatient specimen collection and processing.
• Inoculate microbiology specimens onto primary media.
• Process specimens for referral testing and maintain competency.
