Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor for a facility in Newark, NJ. The starting salary is $21.47 per hour. The role is full-time with Monday–Friday work on Evening/Overnight shifts.

The Shift Supervisor will oversee the delivery of security services, coordinate with the client and internal teams, and supervise security staff on the assigned shift. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 18+ years of age, strong communication and reporting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to prepare written reports and logs.
• Must be able to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing requirements may apply; may be required prior to employment.
• For driving roles, valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Background check and drug/alcohol test may be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and provide customer service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate delivery of quality services on a shift.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Ops Manager, and security officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline within empowerment guidelines.
