Job summary

Texas Health Arlington Memorial is seeking a Security Officer to protect hospital facilities and staff. The role requires vigilance, timely response to incidents, and collaboration with local law enforcement when needed.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent; 2 years in security or related field preferred. Evening shifts (Wednesday–Sunday) with paid training and a family-friendly environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred in Business Admin, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security or related field.
• 2 years of security, law enforcement, or military police preferred; 2 years healthcare/education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol buildings and clinics for after-hour security.
• Lock and open doors according to schedules.
• Provide escorts to and from parking areas.
• Identify and remove unauthorized individuals from property.
• Maintain compliance with Texas Health Police policies.
• Pursue and detain individuals involved in crime.
• Complete incident/offense reports and narratives.
• Interact with police, fire personnel, patients, visitors, and staff.
