Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in business admin, criminal justice, law enforcement, security or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol buildings and clinics for after-hours entry.
• Lock and open doors per schedules.
• Escort individuals to parking areas.
• Identify and remove unauthorized individuals.
• Maintain compliance with Texas Health Police policies.
• Pursue and detain on criminal activity when needed.
• Complete incident reports and narratives.
• Interact with police, fire personnel, patients, visitors and staff.
• Provide security for mobile health teams at events.
• Conduct safety and security training for staff.
• Conduct building risk assessments.
• Monitor building openings/closings and test duress alarms.
