Comstock Holding Companies, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer for a Mon-Thurs 6pm-10pm shift and Friday 6pm-12am at ParkX Management in Falls Church, VA. The role involves patrols, access control, and enforcing safety policies for residents, tenants, and guests.

The position requires Virginia security officer certification and at least 1 year in a customer-service related field. Flexibility for after-hours work and a valid driver's license are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be certified security officer by the state of Virginia.
• Minimum 1 year experience in customer-service related field.
• Valid driver’s license with no major violations.
• Flexibility to work after hours and weekends as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly patrols of the property using the security system.
• Control access for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Protect property from damage and monitor safety.
• Conduct routine foot patrols in and around building.
• Issue banning notices to rule violators and notify management as needed.
• Maintain kiosk appearances and enforce plaza policies.
• Assist marketing during events and manage valet at designated locations.
