Job summary

Comstock is seeking a Security Officer for Gaithersburg, MD, covering Saturday 3pm-8pm, Sunday 1pm-5pm, and Monday-Tuesday 4pm-11pm. The role ensures safe operations, smooth facility experience for residents, tenants and guests, and supports ParkX Management’s properties.

The position requires a High School Diploma, Virginia security certification, and at least 1 year in customer service, with flexibility to work after hours and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Must be certified security officer by the state of Virginia.
• Minimum of at least 1 year experience in customer-service related field.
• Valid driver's license with no major violations.
• Flexibility to work after hours and weekends as needed.
• Outgoing personality with ability to relate to diverse groups and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly patrol route of the property using the security system.
• Access control for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Ensure no property is being damaged.
• Conduct routine foot patrols in and around building.
• Assist with events at Reston and Loudoun Station as needed.
• Maintain plaza kiosk appearance and enforce plaza rules.
• Communicate information to guests and notify management of concerns.
