Job summary

Hobbs Brook Real Estate LLC is seeking a dependable Security Guard to support the safety and security of the Four Points by Sheraton Norwood hotel property in Norwood, MA. The role encompasses monitoring premises, routine patrols, incident responses, and providing professional guest assistance to maintain a secure hospitality experience.

The position requires one year of security experience; three years is preferred.

Qualifications

One year of experience as security required.
Three years preferred.
Lifeguard Certification, First Aid, Choke Saver, and AED Training a plus.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol the buildings and grounds; ensure no unauthorized activity.
Address emergencies promptly across medical, fire, mechanical, water, and electrical issues.
Safeguard premises and deter harm or loss; manage building access and vehicle gate.
Observe all individuals entering/exiting; monitor traffic and identify suspicious activity.
Maintain a log of visitors and vendors; record details for 24-hour period.
Receive after-hours business calls and contact relevant personnel.
Monitor building control systems; respond to alarms and notify facilities staff.
Keep informed about weather and road conditions; notify ground personnel when necessary.
