Job summary

Cherokee County Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced Maintenance/Security Guard (unarmed) to patrol and inspect facilities and respond to work orders during the shift. The role requires being present on site, maintaining a highly visible presence to deter crime, monitor alarm systems and cameras, and report incidents to the Maintenance Director or Administrator.

Qualifications

• Experience in security or facilities maintenance preferred.
• Must be available to work weekdays, weekends and holidays.
• Pre-employment physical and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and inspect facility buildings and grounds on foot or by vehicle.
• Respond to maintenance work orders during shift and perform general maintenance to keep facilities in good repair.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter crime and report incidents to the Maintenance Director or Administrator.
