Job summary

Planned Companies is seeking a Private Security Guard for Monroe, NJ. The role includes routine patrols, gate house security, mobile patrol, and safety checks to protect residential and commercial properties. Schedule is Wednesday to Sunday, 3:00pm-11:00pm with a pay rate of $18.00/hr.

A SORA license and valid driver ’s license, plus 2+ years of experience, are required to ensure compliance and readiness. Candidates must be familiar with CCTV surveillance, report writing, first aid, and basic

Qualifications

• New Jersey SORA license and a clean/valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 2+ years of security officer/guard experience.
• Knowledge of NJ security laws and safety guidelines.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills; reporting ability.
• Experience with CCTV surveillance systems; First Aid, BLS, and self-defense training.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Routine patrols of property to deter and detect security issues.
• Verify access credentials for residents, guests, vendors, and deliveries.
• Ensure exits, doors, and windows are secure and functional.
• Monitor CCTV to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
• Respond to notifications and alarms; assess and investigate as needed.
• Provide security support to residents, guests, and vendors.
• Report uninvited guests, suspicious items, and unlawful acts to authorities.
• Submit daily surveillance and incident reports to management.
