Job summary

Planned Companies is seeking Private Security Guards for 11pm–7am shifts in Teaneck, NJ. The role covers routine patrols, access verification, and CCTV monitoring to deter disruptions. You will respond to alarms, assist residents and vendors, and file daily reports.

Requires SORA license, 2+ years in security, and a high school diploma. Full-time hours, competitive benefits, and a 401K employer match are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold New Jersey SORA license and a clean driver's license.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a security officer or guard.
• Knowledge of local/state security and public safety guidelines.
• Excellent surveillance, reporting, and observation abilities.
• Experience with CCTV surveillance and alarm responses.
• First Aid and Basic Life Saving (BLS) training required.

Responsibilities

• Routine security and safety patrols of property to establish a presence.
• Verify access credentials for residents, guests, vendors, and deliveries.
• Ensure doors and windows are secure and monitor surveillance cameras.
• Respond to alarms, investigate notifications, and assess situations.
• Provide security support to residents, guests, and vendors as needed.
• Report suspected activity and incidents to management daily.
