Job summary

Planned Companies is seeking a Private Security Guard to perform routine patrols, safety checks, and gate house security across residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities include CCTV monitoring, access verification, and incident reporting to management.

Requirements include a valid SORA license and a clean driver’s license, 2+ years of security experience, strong observation, reporting, and communication skills, plus First Aid/BLS training.

Qualifications

• New Jersey SORA license and a clean, valid driver’s license.
• 2+ years of experience as a security officer or guard.
• Knowledge of local, state security guidelines and public safety.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
• Experience with CCTV systems.
• First Aid and BLS training.
• Strong reporting and clear verbal communication.
• High School diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol property and conduct safety checks to maintain order and deter incidents.
• Verify access credentials for residents, guests, vendors, and deliveries.
• Ensure doors and windows are secure and functional at all times.
• Monitor CCTV to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
• Respond to alarms and investigate notifications promptly.
• Provide security-related assistance to residents, guests, and vendors.
• Report suspicious activity to authorities and document incidents daily.
