Job summary

Lake Park High School is seeking a 10-Month Evening Shift Safety Monitor (1:30 PM - 10:00 PM) for West Campus. This benefits-eligible role starts immediately with an emphasis on security and student support.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a related field and law enforcement or security experience. Proficiency with computers and strong communication skills are required to effectively monitor and assist staff and students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (criminal justice field preferred) and security-related experience required.
• Experience in law enforcement, first responders, or security is required.
• Proficient with PCs, tablets, and mobile devices; able to use Office suites and cloud apps.
• Demonstrated aptitude and strong communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality and customer service, with positive interaction with students.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety during the 1:30 PM–10:00 PM shift, Monday through Friday.
• Maintain a secure environment for staff and students on West Campus.
• Coordinate with administration and respond to incidents per district procedures.
• Document incidents clearly and timely, ensuring confidentiality.
• Assist with safety-related tasks and student support as needed.
