Job summary

Jordan School District is seeking a dedicated Campus Monitor to help maintain a safe, positive learning environment for students and staff. The role involves supervising lunch periods, passing times, and before/after school hours, while monitoring hallways, cafeterias, outdoor spaces, and parking areas to ensure safety and order.

You will enforce school rules, support positive student behavior, and respond to safety concerns.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain composure during challenging situations.
• Commitment to creating a safe, supportive learning environment for students.
• Experience with youth is preferred but not required; dedication to student well-being is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide active supervision on campus during lunch periods, passing times, and before/after school hours.
• Monitor hallways, cafeterias, outdoor spaces, and parking areas to maintain order and safety.
• Enforce school rules and support positive student behavior.
• Respond promptly to safety concerns, conflicts, or emergencies and report incidents or hazards to administration.
