Qualifications

• Knowledge of custodial and basic maintenance techniques.
• Strong ability to perform routine cleaning and basic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness of classrooms, offices, hallways, and stairs; recycle materials.
• Clean restrooms and locker rooms daily and replenish supplies.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to facilities and custodial equipment.
• Set up and take down equipment for assemblies and events.
• Operate equipment to promote a clean, safe environment.
• Assist in cafeteria during lunch and in cleaning the kitchen.
• Secure buildings and respond to safety concerns per procedures.
• Close buildings by ensuring doors and lights are secured.
• Perform grounds tasks such as mowing, trimming, snow removal, and waste handling.
• Lift and move equipment up to 80 lbs for distances up to 50 yards.
