Norwell Community Schools at Lancaster Central Elementary School is seeking a School Custodian for the second shift, 3:00pm to 11:30pm. This year-round position offers starting pay of $18.50 per hour. You will keep the building clean and safe by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting restrooms, and handling routine maintenance tasks.

You may move furniture, monitor supplies, and follow district procedures. AHERA Awareness training is required and a high school diploma or GED is preferred; three to six

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three to six months related experience and/or training.

Responsabilités

• Keeps the school building clean, orderly, and well-maintained.
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming classrooms, offices, hallways, and stairs.
• Clean chalkboards and restrooms; empty trash.
• Move furniture and equipment as directed by the head custodian.
• Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and waste.
• Snow removal and salt application to icy walkways.
• Participate in training as directed by supervisor.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
