Job summary

Estrella Foothills High School in Goodyear, Arizona is seeking a Part-Time Custodian with a 20-hour workweek (3:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m., Monday–Friday) to maintain a clean, safe environment for students and staff. This position reports to the Plant Foreman and follows district cleaning guidelines.

Preference given to candidates with custodial experience; MSDS and bloodborne pathogens training are required. Wage is per the district salary guidelines; starting immediately.

Qualifications

• Less than high school diploma.
• MSDS and blood borne pathogens training.
• Experience in custodial work is preferred.
• Ability to communicate with staff, parents and students.

Responsibilities

• Cleans restrooms and floors; empties trash regularly.
• Setups and takedowns for school events.
• Moves furniture and equipment as needed.
• Report safety hazards and repair needs to supervisor.
• Maintain clean and safe environment for learning.
