Huron Academy in Clinton Township is seeking a reliable Custodian for a part-time role. The schedule lands Monday through Friday from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M., offering $17 per hour. The custodian will maintain a clean, safe school environment and support daily operations for a K-8 charter school.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Custodial or cleaning experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time.
• Detail-oriented with organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and handle cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of assigned buildings, equipment, and grounds.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors.
• Dust and wipe surfaces including desks and windows.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Restock supplies in restrooms and break rooms as needed.
• Report maintenance issues and follow safety protocols.
• Assist with setup/breakdown of meeting rooms and events.
• Regular attendance and reliable performance.
