Job summary

McHenry Community Consolidated School District 15 is seeking a PM Custodian for McHenry Middle School to maintain a clean and safe environment after hours. The role reports to the Custodial Supervisor and requires a high school diploma and a valid Illinois driver’s license, with prior custodian experience preferred.

Terms of employment are 12 months, full time, 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm, Monday through Friday, with benefits including health insurance, IMRF pension, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license and ability to travel within district are required.
• Prior school custodian experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, secure the building, and perform seasonal grounds duties.
• Perform ongoing maintenance and minor repairs of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and custodial equipment.
• Read and follow safety rules, manuals, and instructions; work some non-scheduled hours.
• Follow oral and written instructions; set priorities and work independently.
