Job summary

Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation is seeking a 52‑week Custodian to maintain a clean, safe school environment. Work five days per week, 8 hours per day, with an evening schedule from 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm during the school year and summer hours as listed. Competitive hourly pay is provided along with comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning, inventory tasks, and assisting with events on campus. Must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a clean, sanitary environment in and around the school campus.
• Assist in seasonal grounds work and weather-related tasks.
• Restock supplies and report inventory usage to the Head Custodian.
• Support events on school campus and communicate maintenance issues promptly.
