Eastern Pulaski Community School Corporation is seeking a dedicated Custodian for the evening shift to maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

This full-time role involves cleaning classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas; restocking supplies; setting up for events; and upholding health and safety standards. Ideal candidates have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and flexibility to work evenings and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Custodial/janitorial experience is a plus.
• Able to pass a background check and school policies.
• Evening and occasional weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash and dispose waste materials properly.
• Maintain and restock cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Set up/take down furniture for events.
• Inspect facilities and report maintenance needs.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Respond to emergency cleaning requests.
• Collaborate with staff on facility maintenance projects.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
