Job summary

MSAD 55 is seeking a night custodian for Sacopee Valley Middle School in Maine. This full‑time position runs Monday through Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, starting September 2026.

The ideal candidate will communicate professionally with school administration, contractors, students, and members of the public, and will perform cleaning and related physical duties including walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and using ladders.

A current CHRC from the Maine Department of Education is required. EOE.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with staff, contractors, students and the public.
• Able to perform physical tasks including cleaning, frequent walking, using hands, reaching, kneeling, crouching, climbing, using ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must have current CHRC from Maine Department of Education.
