Job summary

Chester County Intermediate Unit is seeking a Custodian Nightside for the Educational Services Center in Downingtown, PA, with a 2pm–10pm schedule. The role involves cleaning, facilities maintenance, and event setup, based at 1525 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville.

Anticipated start ASAP; benefit eligible. Qualifications include a High school diploma or GED, preferred custodial experience, and required state/federal clearances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of institutional cleaning methods and processes preferred
• Previous experience in a school custodial position preferred
• Current police, child abuse & FBI Fingerprint clearances required

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain building facilities
• Utilizing and operating appropriate equipment, perform routine facilities maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, and snow removal.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclable items
• Set up and breakdown tables and chairs for special events
• Assist with the receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies
• Operate buffer, floor-care machines, vacuums, drills, and other small power tools
