Job summary

Mesa Public Schools is hiring for a full-time custodian to maintain cleanliness and safe conditions across district school facilities. The role operates during the 2nd shift with an evening schedule and an additional $0.35/hr shift pay, starting from a base hourly wage of $17.12.

Responsibilities include performing custodial duties, operating power equipment, assisting with moving equipment and furniture, and ensuring regular attendance.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge and experience of custodial equipment, supplies, and proper cleaning procedures
• High School education or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties as required by district standards
• Operate custodial power equipment
• Assist in moving equipment and furniture as required
• Regular and on-time attendance required
• Perform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
• Assists with other assigned duties as appropriate to the area of assignment and Mesa Public Schools
