Job summary

Mesa Public Schools is seeking a Custodian for Westwood High School in Mesa, AZ. This full-time (40 hours per week) role operates on the 2nd shift evening schedule with an additional $0.35/hr shift pay. Base hourly wage is $17.12.

The position supports maintaining clean, safe school facilities and requires dependable attendance throughout the shift. New hires may earn additional pay through annual performance reviews and education premium.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of custodial equipment, supplies, and proper cleaning procedures.
• High School education or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties as required by district standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe conditions of the school.
• Operate custodial power equipment.
• Assist in moving equipment and furniture as required.
• Regular and on-time attendance required.
• Perform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure efficient operation.
