Job summary

Mesa Public Schools is seeking a Full-Time Custodian for the Student Services Center in Mesa, AZ. The role features a 2nd shift with a $0.35/hour shift premium and a base hourly rate of $17.12.

Work includes maintaining cleanliness, safety, and order across classrooms, hallways, gyms, cafeterias, and offices. Employment is 40 hours weekly with vacation, sick leave, holidays, and retirement benefits through ASRS.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge and experience of custodial equipment, supplies, and proper cleaning procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties as required by district standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe condition of the school environment.
• Operate custodial power equipment.
• Assist in moving equipment and furniture as required.
• Ensure regular and on-time attendance.
• Perform other related duties to support the work unit.
• Assist with duties appropriate to the area of assignment.
