Southwest Vermont Supervisory Union Mt. Anthony Union High School in Bennington, Vermont is seeking an Evening Custodian to maintain clean, safe facilities. Responsibilities include daily and weekly cleaning, event setup, and property maintenance. Immediate start with a full-time schedule and a wage of $18–$21 per hour.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED, 2–3 years custodial experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 70 pounds. Residency or work visa may be required.

Qualifications

• Two to three years related janitorial/custodial experience or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to lift 70 pounds.

• High School/Trade School degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep District facilities neat, clean and safe.
• Perform daily custodial duties: sweeping, mopping, dusting, and operating floor machines.
• Perform weekly and monthly cleaning, waxing, and dusting.
• Summer cleaning: power washing, strip and wax floors.
• Assist in event setup/takedown for school activities.
• Maintain and store District property.
• Prioritize tasks and execute plans with minimal supervision.
• Attend District trainings and adhere to policies.
