Job summary

Davenport Community School District is seeking an entry-level external custodian for West High, 3:15 pm to 11:45 pm. The position starts at an entry level rate of $18.17 per hour, with internal bidding opportunities noted and the expectation to perform general custodial duties.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 56 lb. Primary responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, window care, floor care, minor grounds work, and assisting with supply delivery.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize desks, door handles, restrooms and fixtures.

• Waste removal and minor grounds duties; report maintenance issues.
• Assist with supplies delivery; operate and maintain custodial equipment.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks during breaks as assigned.
• Ensure safety by following procedures and using equipment correctly.
