Job summary

Davenport Community Schools North High School in Davenport, IA is seeking a Custodian for 8 hours per day. The shift runs 3:15 PM to 11:45 PM, with day-shift work during Winter, Spring and Summer Breaks. Internal bids due by 9/2/26; external applicants accepted until filled.

Responsibilities

• Clean/sanitize desk/table tops, door handles, restroom fixtures.
• Cleans glass; dusts horizontal surfaces, clocks, overhead screens, and blinds.
• Wet mopping of floors; spot cleaning of carpets and hard flooring.
• Assists with deep cleaning during break periods (stripping, scrub & recoat, carpet extraction, cleaning restrooms, glass, and furniture).
• Trash removal; removes snow.
• Minor grounds keeping; lawn mowing and delivery of supplies.
