Job summary

Montgomery County Public Schools seeks a Building Service Worker (Shift I) for Infants & Toddlers at the English Manor Site. This 4-hour, part-time role runs 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

with a 12-month schedule. Wage ranges from $20.65 to $26.16 per hour; uniforms are provided and on-the-job training is included. Under general supervision, you will perform cleaning and grounds maintenance in schools and admin buildings.

Qualifications

• Completion of the ninth grade required.
• Experience in general cleaning of buildings and grounds.
• Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Emergency personnel; report to buildings during inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform building cleaning, facilities and grounds maintenance in schools and admin buildings.
• Operate custodial equipment safely and maintain supplies.
• Monitor spaces to ensure a safe and secure environment; follow SSPGS competencies.
