Job summary

GRBS, Inc. is seeking a dependable School Custodian for Byron Center Public Schools in Grand Rapids, MI. The role features a 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM shift with a 40-hour workweek and a pay rate of $16.50–$17.00 per hour.

Join our custodial team dedicated to safe, clean school facilities. Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, restrooms, and common areas, reporting maintenance concerns, and assisting with events.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid ID required.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Due to Michigan Public School requirements, individuals with theft, violence, or drug related backgrounds will not qualify for employment.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Dusting and cleaning classrooms and common areas.
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms.
• Emptying trash and recycling.
• Reporting maintenance and safety concerns.
• Assisting with event setup and cleanup as needed.
