Job summary

GRBS, Inc. is seeking a dependable School Custodian for Byron Center Public Schools in Grand Rapids, MI. This full-time, 2nd shift position runs Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.

You will handle cleaning duties across classrooms and common areas, restrooms, and facilities, with opportunities for advancement and benefits. Requirements include being 18+, valid ID, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid ID required.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Due to Michigan Public School requirements, individuals with theft, violence, or drug related backgrounds will not qualify for employment.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Dusting and cleaning classrooms and common areas.
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms.
• Emptying trash and recycling.
• Marinating clean and safe school facilities.
• Reporting maintenance and safety concerns.
• Assisting with event setup and cleanup as needed
• Completing additional cleaning duties as assigned.
