Job summary

The Colonial School District is seeking a full-time Custodian for William Penn High School, working Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The role focuses on maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming facilities for students and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Must be flexible for shift changes with 72-hour advance notice where possible.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in extreme temperatures and conditions.
• Read, write and communicate professionally with staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors, walls, desks, restrooms and classrooms; maintain common areas.
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs to furniture and fixtures.
• Clean cafeteria areas and kitchen surfaces; responsibilities include trash removal and spill cleanup.
• Assist in snow removal and maintain building cleanliness during shift.
• Attend regularly as an essential duty and perform other duties as assigned.
