Job summary

Mesa Public Schools is seeking a full-time Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and safety of school environments during the evening shift, with additional pay for evenings. The role requires reliable attendance and the ability to operate custodial power equipment.

Responsibilities include cleaning, moving equipment, and supporting daily district operations. The district offers vacation, sick leave, holidays, ASRS retirement, health and life insurance, plus annual performance pay.

Qualifications

• Experience with custodial equipment, supplies, and proper cleaning procedures.
• Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and adhere to district standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties as required by district standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safe condition of the schools.
• Operate custodial power equipment.
• Assist in moving equipment and furniture as required.
• Regular and on-time attendance required.
• Perform other related duties to ensure efficient functioning of the work unit.
• Assist with other assigned duties as appropriate to the area of assignment and Mesa Public Schools.
