Job summary

Mesa Public Schools is seeking a Custodian Supervisor to oversee custodial staff and perform essential cleaning duties to maintain safe, clean school environments. This role requires supervising daily tasks, managing supplies, and ensuring compliance with district standards.

Preferred candidates have six months of custodial experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to work evenings in a 2nd shift. Salary reflects $19.89/hour with shift pay for evenings.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months custodial experience required.
• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with record keeping and basic software (Word, Excel) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise custodians assigned to school.
• Supervise and assist with diverse tasks daily to maintain the school plant.
• Request supplies and equipment from district warehouse.
• Conduct frequent inspections of school facilities.
• Maintain site custodial payroll records and submit reports.
• Ensure upkeep of school during summer and supervise summer cleanup.
• Report facility repairs and equipment problems; ensure safety and order.
