Job summary

Exeter Job Corps is hiring a School Bus Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for students from our Exeter center to Electric Boat in North Kingstown and training sites in Rhode Island. The role includes light maintenance and facility upkeep at the Exeter location.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid Rhode Island CDL with appropriate insurance. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule from 3:00pm to 12:00am, with a pay rate of $24.37 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid RI CDL and insurability per company.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Experience with youth preferred.
• Background check and verification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and inspections of Center facilities and systems.
• Completes and documents work status and notifies supervisor.
• Provides transportation for students to and from Exeter and training locations.
• Maintains vehicle documentation per DOL/company requirements.
• Schedules and coordinates preventive maintenance and repairs.
