Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital Inc in the United States is seeking an experienced registered nurse for an evening shift role with every 4th weekend and a holiday rotation. The RN will provide family-centered nursing care, assess patient needs, coordinate with LPNs, PCAs, unit coordinators, and allied health staff, and document care adhering to safety and quality standards.

Requires BSN or ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years, active RN license in Ohio, and current CPR.

Qualifications

• BSN or Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current CPR certification; willingness to obtain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses individualized patient needs and communicates care priorities to the team.
• Plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Documents according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
