Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program required.
• A bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the Maryland Board of Nursing.
• Minimum of 2–5 years of nursing experience, with long-term care or supervisory experience preferred.
• Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
• Knowledge of Maryland nursing regulations and CMS long-term care requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
• Monitor patient care standards and implement improvements to enhance quality and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to develop and execute care plans.
• Conduct staff training and provide ongoing mentorship to nursing personnel.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, hospital policies, and accreditation standards.
• Manage staffing schedules, resolve conflicts, and address personnel issues promptly.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and contribute to policy development and implementation.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of nursing activities and patient care.
