Job summary

Medford Multicare Center in New York, NY is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to lead the afternoon/evening nursing team. This role combines clinical leadership with hands-on oversight to deliver high-quality resident care and maintain a supportive, efficient unit.

The position offers a 4pm–12am schedule, $50–$52 per hour with shift differential, and opportunities for growth and leadership development within a stable work environment.

Qualifications

• Active NY RN license required.
• Prior supervisory/leadership experience in skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Resident-centered care commitment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff throughout the shift, ensuring quality care and compliance with facility standards
• Serve as a clinical resource and provide guidance in complex or emergency situations
• Oversee medication administration and treatment procedures
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
• Assist with staff assignments, workflow management, and shift coverage as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized unit environment
