Job summary

Harborview-Health-System in Tarboro, NC is seeking an RN Supervisor to oversee nursing staff and ensure safe, high-quality resident care in a faith-based organization.

You will supervise RN/LPN Charge Nurses, CNAs, and Medication Aids; perform admissions and routine assessments; monitor resident changes; support activities of daily living; maintain documentation; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams; and uphold infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing in state of practice.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise delivery medications and treatments along with supervision of RN/LPN Charge Nurses, CNAs, and Medication Aids where applicable
• Completion of required admission and routine resident assessments
• Monitor resident conditions and respond quickly to changes, ensuring safety, comfort, and continuity of care
• Support activities of daily living
• Maintain clear, timely documentation
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary teams and families
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards to protect your residents and your teammates
• Other duties as assigned
