The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Qualifications

• Must have a current RN license for the state of practice.
• 2 years of supervisor experience in sub-acute or long-term care facility or related health care facility preferred.
• Completion of post-secondary education; ability to read, write, and follow directions.
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance; flexible schedule including evenings, nights and weekends.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, and relevant laws/regulations in long-term care.
• Leadership and supervisory ability to work harmoniously with staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
• Day-to-day supervision of licensed and non-licensed staff, including counseling and evaluations.
• Maintain an ongoing quality assurance program for the nursing unit.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure total care.
• Demonstrate leadership and supervise personnel with tact and professionalism.
